BTEC L3 Enterprise and Entrepreneurship

Course details:

The Level 3 BTEC Extended Certificate in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship is equivalent to one A Level. It is a vocational qualification in which students will continually apply their learning to real-life scenarios and business settings. The units studied are Enterprise and Entrepreneurs, Developing a Marketing Campaign, Personal and Business Finance and Social Enterprise. The course is assessed via 3 externally set assessments and one exam. It prepares students for a range of careers and further study including university degrees.

Entry Requirements

A Grade M2 in Enterprise Level 2, where studied at KS4, or a Grade 5 in GCSE Business if studied at KS4. A grade 4 in English Language and Maths are also required.

Progression

On successful completion of a BTEC level 3 qualification, a learner can progress to or within employment and/or continue their study in health and social care, or a related vocational area.

 

Assessment

 

The course is assessed via 3 externally set assessments and one exam. It prepares students for a range of careers and further study including university degrees.
