Blessed Hugh’s outreach work with 17 schools to further the common good
Did you know that Blessed Hugh founded and leads a partnership of nearly 20 schools, many in the local area but with one as far away as Slovakia?

Headmaster, Dr Uttley, welcomes Mr Martin Smilnak and St John Bosco School, Bardejov, Slovakia, into the Koinonia Group
The schools are committed to deep collaboration and we have a unique partnership with St Mary’s University, Twickenham, to support our research.
How does this help students and staff at Blessed Hugh?
- Our staff are committed to research-based learning and continuous improvement
- Our school is proudly Catholic and ensures that all we do Is informed by our Catholic identity
- Our work with primary schools helps us to avoid any dip whereby Year6 children are not stretched in Year 7
- Blessed Hugh is now known across the region for this ground-breaking work
