History at BHF is all about understanding the word around us. We aim to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to make sense of the world in which they will be living and working.
To do this we support students to develop their ability to inform, persuade, reason, explain, evaluate, analyse, research, discuss and debate.

Years 7, 8 and 9

School History Project pre-History to 21st Century- Key Themes:
Movement and settlement, Empires, conflict…and co-operation, ordinary life, what was it like and why did it change? Power, democracy and human rights. Ideas and beliefs.
Review the significance of events studied.
